Denee

_

Denee completed her first certification from the Physical Mind Institute in New York in 2004 & 2007. She continued continuing education with teachers trained by Romana Kryzanowska, including Peter Fiasca, Siri Galliano, Mejo Wiggins and Jay Grimes.

In the fall of 2009, she interviewed, was assessed, and chosen to train with Heritage Pilates under Romana Kryzanowska, Chacha Guerrero and Michael Rooks, completing over 1,000 hours in her apprenticeship and graduating in the Spring of 2011. She continues to train and study, seeking to further understand the Pilates method of exercise and health.

She doesn’t add to the Pilates method, change it, or create new exercises. That doesn’t mean she doesn’t think about, analyze, and teach according to each person. There are ways to modify an exercise, without changing the essence or purpose. Denee likes to break things down and truly explain each part, so there is an understanding of the whole. She understands there are physical as well as mental limitations.

Denee is married and is a full time mom of tween twin daughters, an energetic toddler, one old neurotic poodle, one old crazy cat and one frisky toddler dog.
They all live happily in Richardson. Denee holds a degree in fashion design from University of North Texas in 1994.
